Physical Therapist I, Outpatient Pelvic Health

Location : UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp, US : CO : Fort Collins

Department : PVH Rehab Services

FTE : Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Days

Pay : $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary :

Seeking an experienced Outpatient Pelvic Health Physical Therapist for a busy Hospital-based Clinic in Fort Collins, CO working with a Team of Pelvic Health Therapists.

Evaluates and treats patient populations for Pelvic health therapy needs. Preferred candidate will be comfortable treating males and females with pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence.

Therapy sessions are 1 : 1 provided in 45-minute sessions to be able to focus on the patient and outcomes.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient / family according to their capabilities and desires.
  • Educates the patient and family / caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and / or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.

Provides information regarding appropriate selection / use of adaptive equipment and support programs.

Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • CO State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Preferred :

Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
