OverviewArcher Western, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Bridge Carpenter Foreman for the I-95 to I-295 North Interchange, in Jacksonville, FL.

The Bridge Carpenter Foreman will supervise, coordinate, and schedule crew of 3-15 construction employees daily; oversee carpentry operation in assigned area to include : bridge construction and installation of structures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials using carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines for jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.

  • experience managing crews and subcontractors preferredAbility to communicate effectively with crew members, project management, subcontractors, and vendorsAbility to effectively read and understand work plansRequires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold / ladderMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures;

communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
