We are looking for a painter with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and good overall knowledge and experience.
Specific qualifications for the role include :
- Bodywork and Preparing surfaces : Inspect bodywork prior to primer / paint. Ability to apply filler, sanding, long blocking, priming, and masking surfaces to prepare them for painting
- Mixing paint : Selecting, color matching, and mixing paint and coating liquids to achieve the desired color and texture
- Applying paint : Using a sprayer to apply paint to the surface
- Inspecting : Checking the quality of the paint job for runs, sags, and unpainted areas
- Applying finish : Applying clear coat finish. Cut and polish vehicle to achieve a professional finished product
- Maintaining equipment : Keeping all body shop equipment in good condition and using it safely and properly
