Structural Engineer
Role is on-site in Portland, OR
Job Description
As a Professional Engineer, you will stamp off on projects and lead a team of 3 Structural Engineers. Partner with the Architecture principal to create budgets, invoices, and review monthly accounts payable and receivable.
Manage projects in commercial and industrial building types, ensuring quality assurance and quality control in designs. Perform structural calculations and draft construction drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
Conduct field inspections at client sites. Oversee projects from start to finish, including reviewing designs, performing calculations, managing a team of engineers, and communicating with clients regarding timelines and budgets.
Manage up to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging from small one-day projects like equipment anchorage design to large 5-6 month building restoration projects.
The majority of projects are industrial, including warehouses, facilities, and food storage.
