Summary : The HR Director will be responsible for leading all aspects of human resource operations and strategies within the organization.
This key leadership role requires a seasoned professional with significant experience in the manufacturing / construction industries.
The HR Director will oversee all human resource initiatives including overseeing the daily workflow of the department, internal management training, and supporting and guiding staff when complex situations arise.
Responsibilities Drive initiatives for talent management, succession planning, and organizational development. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices;
reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Qualifications Fifteen / Twenty years of HR experience Manufacturing or construction industry experience required Bachelor's Degree required;
master’s degree preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
