• Case volume includes general, ortho, ophthalmology, urology, podiatry, Cath Lab, IR and Endo.
• Supervision model in place, encouraging CRNAs to practice autonomously.
• Ample opportunities for CRNAs to perform regional anesthesia including peripheral nerve blocks and spinals.
• The anesthesia team covers 6-9 ORs per day and consists of 5 anesthesiologists and 5-7 CRNAs.

Five anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs are on our anesthesia team; they provide coverage of six to nine operating rooms daily.

CRNAs are encouraged to practice autonomously.

Requirements

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and / or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
