We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will be designing, building and maintaining PlainID development, test and production environments to achieve dynamic authorization capability delivery goals.
You will need to ensure that implementation stays aligned with industry best practices.
This 4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a remote role in the US.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the dynamic authorization space.
- Create and maintain low-level designs for the platform and platform integrations.
- Monitor, support and maintain platform infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Gather and synthesize requirements, and design system components and configurations for development, test and production environments.
- Work closely with data teams and application owners to implement new integrations of enforcement points in order to achieve effective access control.
- Operate within an Agile product structure including breaking down work into epics and stories in Jira that capture product team output.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the enterprise-wide dynamic authorization platform.
- Write and continually maintain standard operating instructions.
Requirements :
- 10+ years of experience in experience in information management or information security roles.
- 5+ years’ experience (of the total) in identity engineer roles.
- Clear understanding of the large enterprise Identity and Access Management landscape including how authentication and authorization are related to enterprise operations.
- Understanding of system virtualization for the delivery of an identity platform particularly for scale, performance and resiliency.
- Experience deploying in containerized infrastructures. (K8S, Helm Charts, git).
- Firm understanding of REST API and SQL / JDBC filtering using policy-based access techniques. (structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data.
- 3+ years of experience working as a product owner of an information technology or cyber security product.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
