Job Description
The Quality, Accreditation, and Education Coordinator reports to the Systems Quality, Accreditation, and Education Director for Imaging Services.
This position will work closely with department managers, radiologist, MR safety officer, and Radiation Safety to create, operationalize, enforce, and audit safe practices for their assigned division.
Under limited supervision, the Quality, Accreditation, and Education Coordinator assist with regulatory compliance to ensure compliance with statutory mandates, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
Provides education to radiology leadership and faculty as it relates to patient safety, policies, PSI reporting, and quality initiatives.
This role will assist with implementation of quality initiatives and key performance metrics as well as the facilitation of performance improvement.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Associates degree with a minimum of five years’ experience.
A Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience may be substituted for the five years’ experience.
Strong health care related analytical and organizational related skills. A Computer / internet skills and familiarity with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) essential.
