Job Summary :

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning and design of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing associated with construction projects that will meet customer needs in the most value-added manner.

This also includes the development of standards and procedures along with evaluation of mechanical matters in the field of commercial construction.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must possess Mechanical P.E. in VA; Licensed Mechanical P.E. in both VA and NC a plus
  • Great computational and spatial ability while maintaining attention to detail
  • Advanced working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics and principles
  • Exceptional computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit and other engineering software
  • Possess excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with a teamwork mentality
