SUMMARY
Runs the production that is required on a daily basis; and to follow all work instructions and quality instructions, by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Understands the fundamental systems and how to adhere to system
Completes accurate production records
Follow startup procedures (area specific)
Follow standard work
Follow gage instructions (where applicable)
Recognize abnormalities & communicate to supervisor
Condition control (adhere to condition standards, record readings when applicable, etc )
Correctly use KANBAN system
Wear safety glasses at all times except in authorized areas, i.e. blue floor, break rooms, rest rooms.
Follows all company procedures / policies / rules
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) not required; successful Work Keys passing required (tested at time of interview) and five years of related experience and / or training preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
