The Role :
The Solutions Architect will play a critical role in the successful implementation of our new GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tool within the financial services industry.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GRC principles and practices, along with technical expertise in enterprise software solutions and the unique regulatory landscape of financial institutions.
This individual will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and providing ongoing support and optimization, all while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities :
Requirements Gathering and Analysis : Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and analyze GRC requirements, with a focus on financial industry regulations and compliance needs.
Translate these requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Solution Design : Design and architect the GRC solution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and specific financial regulatory requirements (e.
g., SOX, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
System Configuration and Integration : Configure the GRC tool to meet specific business needs and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations.
Integrate the tool with existing financial systems and data sources (e.g., core banking systems, trading platforms, etc.).
Data Migration and Management : Plan and execute data migration from legacy systems to the GRC tool, ensuring data security and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Establish data management processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Testing and Validation : Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality, performance, and compliance with financial regulations.
- User Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users, emphasizing the importance of regulatory compliance and data security within the financial industry.
- Vendor Management : Liaise with the GRC tool vendor to address technical issues and ensure timely resolution, while also ensuring the vendor's solutions meet financial industry regulatory standards.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including documentation related to compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience :
- 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record in successfully implementing enterprise software solutions in a financial environment.
- Experience with GRC tools and processes, specifically within the context of financial regulations and compliance.
- Technical Skills :
- Strong knowledge of system architecture and design principles.
- Experience with data integration and migration in a secure and compliant manner.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and security protocols relevant to the financial industry.
- Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including regulatory compliance officers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Project management experience.
Additional Considerations :
- Certifications in GRC, financial risk management, or related fields are a plus.
- Deep understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
