Overview :
- Handles patient phone calls, providing triaging, instruction and appropriate follow-up, maintain exam rooms, supplies, equipment and medications.
- Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians / nurse practitioner and the leader.
Qualifications for Medical Assistant :
Medical Assistant :
Education : High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification : Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire .
- Preferred Experience : 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.
Certified Medical Assistant :
Education : High School Diploma or GED.
Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification / registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
LPN Qualifications :
Education : Diploma in Practical Nursing
- Licensure : Active LPN licensure
- Preferred Experience : 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
