Job Title : IT Forensics (US Citizen Only)
Location : Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations, including the analysis of computer systems, networks, and digital storage devices.
- Collect, preserve, and document digital evidence in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Perform data recovery and analysis to uncover evidence of unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber incidents.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities and threats.
- Prepare detailed forensic reports and present findings to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assist in the development and implementation of incident response and data protection strategies.
- Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital forensics and cybersecurity.
- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings, if required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in forensic tools and software such as EnCase, FTK, X1, or similar.
- Strong understanding of file systems, operating systems, and network protocols.
- Experience with data recovery, evidence handling, and forensic analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to digital evidence and data protection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with advanced threat detection and response tools.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
