Visual Designer - Pinterest Update

Columbus, OH Remote (25-40 hours / week)

4-6+ month contract with possible extension and / or conversion

Job Overview :

As a Visual Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating eye-catching, on-brand visuals that resonate with our target audience.

You will collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop a cohesive visual strategy that enhances our Pinterest presence and drives user engagement.

We believe in the power of visual storytelling and are seeking a talented Visual Designer to help elevate our content and engagement on the platform.

Key Responsibilities :

• Visual Content Creation : Design high-quality pins, infographics, and other visual assets tailored for Pinterest.
• Brand Alignment : Ensure all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and effectively communicate our message.
• Trend Analysis : Research and stay updated on Pinterest trends to create timely and relevant content.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts.
• Feedback Incorporation : Act on feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and enhance designs.
• Performance Review : Analyze the performance of pins and adjust design strategies based on analytics and user engagement.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience in visual design, preferably for social media platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, particularly for Pinterest or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Familiarity with Pinterest’s best practices and trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Portfolio including design examples

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with motion graphics or animation.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
• Basic understanding of analytics tools to measure engagement and effectiveness.
