About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Operating Room, Surgical Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : All shifts, all days.
Discussion available for 8-hour or 12-hour shifts. Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : Minimum 3 years License : Not specified Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
Must-Have : - High school graduate or equivalent - Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology - BLS Certification Job Description : - Provide assistance and support in the operating room during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments and equipment.- Ensure a sterile environment in the operating area.- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe operative procedures.
- Follow proper sterilization and decontamination protocols. Additional Information : - To qualify as a traveler, the permanent address of the candidate must be more than 50 miles away from the facility.
- Trauma Level : Level 2 - Bed Size : 150-500 - Bilingual capability not required - Holiday coverage not required
