This position will have offices in both - Modesto & Stockton terminals.

Reporting to Antonini's Fleet Manager, the Inventory Control Supervisor will support the strategic direction of the company.

Demonstrate integrity, heritage, fairness, quality and community service in the performance of one’s functions and responsibilities to ensure that the department goals are achieved.

  • Inventory Control Supervisor supervises inventory control operations and Inventory Clerks at both Modesto and Stockton facilities.
  • Assist in the creation of standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency.
  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases. Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, labeling and processing.

Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices.
  • Utilizes inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Assist in setting up, inputting and reconciliation of physical inventories.

Execute cycle counts and physical inventories and reconciliations as required.

  • Maintain accurate and current physical inventory database through Vehicle Tracker.
  • Process Repair Orders into Vehicle Tracker. Input vehicle maintenance information and PO’s into Vehicle Tracker.
  • Assist in setting up and managing a cycle count inventory system at all storerooms.
  • Assist in the design of monthly management reports utilizing Vehicle Tracker, Excel and Access.
  • Ensure all materials areas inside and at terminal locations are orderly and kept in the highest housekeeping standards.

Perform space management activities to ensure safe and orderly storage of materials in conjunction with good material handling and inventory control methodologies.

Position Specifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in inventory control and inventory audit processes with a strong familiarity and / or experience with heavy duty parts.
  • High School diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient English, grammar, spelling, punctuation and math skills. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to organize tasks and time to ensure timely completion of duties and projects.
