JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description
Onin Staffing is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Forklift Operators. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our shipping and receiving operations.
- 3rd Shift Opportunity
- $20 per hour
- Weekly Pay

What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator :
- Successfully complete Forklift Training Certification program
- Load and unload trucks
- Stock inventory
- Palletize
- Scan the Inbound and Outbound trucks when they load and unload
- Log in the drivers on the Driver Log; log in the seal numbers on the Seal Log
- Complete daily forklift checklist
- May be reassigned to alternate operational areas as business needs require
Work Experience
Education and / or Experience :
High School or equivalent training and / or at least 6 months of related experience preferred
Requirements / Skills :
- Ability to speak English
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Ability to estimate speed of moving objects
- Ability to count and use simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to operate industrial equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to contact with other departments or people outside of the mail terminal on routine affairs, exchanging necessary information on a service or cooperative basis
Physical Demands :
- Ability to walk, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds (additional weight may be required with assistance)
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with cold, hot, and changing temperatures, medium noise levels, dust, dirt, and changes in lighting
