How you'll make a difference
The Director of Learning Delivery and Operations will ensure the successful delivery of PMI's many varied learning products to market.
This role will oversee the digital delivery of courses and learning tools, the physical delivery of books and live events, and the translation of core materials to new global audiences.
Key responsibilities include establishing quality assurance and maintenance standards across products, as well as leading a team of specialists with varied expertise in quality assurance, digital product management, printing and fulfillment, inventory management and digital product maintenance, and translation and localization.
The Director and team will also support critical activities that directly inform all other aspects of the Learning team's work, including analytics and data tracking on product engagement, gathering diverse community feedback, and maintaining consistent, structured protocols for productivity tracking and project management.
What you'll bring to the role
- 1 0+ years of experience in operations management, digital education, or print publications... and a strong willingness to learn about the other two (required).
- Advanced degree in business, project management, or operations preferred.
- Proven experience in managing the operational aspects of learning delivery for large-scale programs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex logistics and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience managing teams and external vendors in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Commitment to equitable leadership and team practices, including transparency, modeling vulnerability, encouraging dissent, interrupting group think, advocating for radical inclusion, and employing active listening
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required for internal team or leadership meetings, or for external events, including representing the practices and principles of the learning team to the PMI community and peers in the edtech, translation, or publishing spaces.
