We are currently hiring a Nursing Aide / CNA to join our dedicated and compassionate team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu.
In this role, you will provide exceptional care to seniors in the Honolulu, Hawaii area, playing a crucial part in assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities :
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and oral care
- Help clients with mobility and transferring to and from beds or chairs
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse
- Administer medications as prescribed by the client's physician
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
- Report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
Requirements :
- Valid Nursing Aide / CNA certification in the state of Hawaii
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to client locations
Compensation & Benefits :
