Pest Control Technician - North Bend - Position to start in ASAP this is a rare opportunity as we are a small business 2 employees.
We are looking for a PART TIME person to work 2 to 3 days a week or more if needed.
Must be willing / able to travel to North Bend / Snoqualmie area on all assigned work days.
OPEN POSITION is considered Part time as it is about 22-32 hours per week or more. Business is usually busier April-September, and slower October-March;
hours will be assigned accordingly. There is definitely room for growth and pay increases based on licensure, dependability and performance. Weekends, Holidays off
TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Assess and evaluate pest issues.
2. Identify and problem solve pest control measures / treatments.
3. Initiate appropriate treatments / actions.
4. Communicate and educate all customers on : products, treatments, pest control process and programs, and preventive measures.
5. Follow all industry safety standards and utilize safety measures appropriately.
6. Maintain WSDA annual continuing education requirements.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. Above 30+ hours in peak season possible per week
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. High School education or equivalent.
2. Customer service skills professionalism.
3. Effective communication and time management skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
5. Recognize and abide by all Washington State driving laws and regulations.
6. Good driving record. WA State Drivers License Required. (5 year driving abstract required)
7. Licensure : Study and pass WSDA Company required examination within 30 days of hire, (examinations are employer paid).
8. No allergies to bees or phobias related to small confined spaces.
9. No chemical sensitivities.
10. Abide by all company policies.
11. Must Complete and Successfully Pass Background and Drug Screening tests if Hired.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
1. Much of the day is spent driving / riding in a work vehicle to job sites.
2. Job sometimes requires work in crawl spaces, tight spots, outdoors (including inclement weather) and on ladders.
3. Expenses for continuing education, training and licensure is employer paid.
SUPERVISION : Reports directly to owners. Works with owner.
SCHEDULE : Business is open Monday - Friday, 8-5. NO weekends or holidays
SALARY RANGE : Based on Experience $25-28 hour DOE
You will however have a somewhat flexible schedule and potentially be eligible to earn bonuses.
