Summary :
The manager is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a unit or a group of patient care units within Nursing Services.
The manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with it's mission, vision, and values.
Experience :
3 years recent experience in related clinical area of nursing required
Education :
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required
Masters degree in nursing or related field1 year first line management experience preferred
Certifications Licensure :
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington required
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care required
Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)required
Special Skills :
Must be able to work under deadlines.
Must be able to utilize independent decision-making skills in a wide variety of situations.
Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities.
Personal computer skills required.
Frequent contact with employees, physicians, customers, community individuals and volunteers.
Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
