Shift : Monday Friday, 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm
Department : ENT Clinic Salary Range : $14.00 - $21.18, final salary based on experience

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive public relations.
Provide intake duties to prepare for testing.
Verify patient benefits, and answer hearing aid pricing and service questions.
Assist front office / switchboard as needed.
Conduct otoacoustic emission screening and non-diagnostic otoscopy.
Instruct patients on the proper use and care of hearing aids.
Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs.
Maintain and update patient medical records.
Perform equipment maintenance and biological checks by conducting tympanometric evaluation on children and adults (without interpretation).
Clean, disinfect, and stock room exam rooms, and clean multi-patient use
audiology equipment and supplies.
Perform maintenance / safety checks of clinical supplies and equipment. Clean, maintain, and inventory FM Systems for CRMC agreement.
Maintain inventories of equipment and supplies. Prepare materials for ear molds.
Send ear mold orders, device repairs, and factory returns.
Maintain hearing aid supplies.
Track orders, repairs, and returns.
Serve as clinic liaison to hearing aid manufacturer representatives.
Create and process hearing aid purchase order agreements.
Check hearing aid upon arrival from the manufacturer and assist customers with exchanges.
Participate in continuing education events and other training programs to
enhance knowledge and ability to perform job responsibilities.
May complete unit / department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
Qualifications
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year of healthcare experience.
Additional license / certification requirements as determined by the hiring
department
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and may require ambulating, remaining in a stationary position and positioning self to reach and / or move objects above the shoulders and below the knees.
The employee may frequently lift and / or move objects up to 10 lbs. and occasionally move objects up to 25 lbs.
This role may also routinely come into contact with patients who may have
contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during
inclement weather will be required.
