will be engaged with the MS program in Statistics, Analytics and Data Science (STANDS) run by the Statistics and Operations Research (STOR) Department.
The professor will co-direct the MS program, teach and direct a year-long capstone course (practicum), solicit and structure industry projects for the practicum, and oversee a professional development course with outsourced components.
The practicum might grow into a larger data science lab involving undergraduate and graduate PhD students, and other faculty.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Candidates must have a graduate degree (MS, PhD) in Statistics, Operations Research or a related quantitative field, and relevant consulting experience in industry or academia.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Teaching experience at the university level, or similar experience in industry would be a plus.
