Forklift Operator / Material Handler :

Location : Harrisburg, AR

Shift : 2nd Shift (3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM)

Training on 1st Shift (7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM)

Starting Pay : $18.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials and products throughout our facility while ensuring safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Material Handling : Pick up and move materials that are not loaded on a skid or pallet.
  • Loading and Unloading : Load and unload materials in and out of trucks or warehouses.
  • Stock Movement : Move stock around the warehouse to the appropriate sections.
  • Inventory Management : Scan incoming inventory, track inventory, and record the number of units moved.
  • Labeling and Sorting : Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintenance : Perform daily maintenance on the forklift, including cleaning, oiling, and recharging batteries.
  • Safety Compliance : Follow safety regulations and company guidelines, and handle hazardous materials carefully.
  • Quality Assurance : Perform quality checks to identify damages, shortages, and defects.
  • Documentation : Document the arrival, departure, and movement of goods.

Qualifications :

  • MUST have prior experience operating a forklift.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
