Hatch is seeking a motivated and talented student local to Pittsburgh, PA for a Process Engineering Intern with the desire for a challenging career in the engineering consulting field.

This challenging position involves working as part of a highly specialized team focused on servicing our clients.

The process group in the Hatch Pittsburgh office supports various business units such as water and energy.

As the successful candidate, you will be :

Qualifications :

• Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science and Engineering.
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams.
• Commitment to achieving engineering excellence.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to various practical problems.
• A desire to learn and continually develop.
• Strong personal commitment to safety.
• Co-op or Summer Student experience an asset.

You will have opportunities to :

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to complete project deliverables for clients

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians / engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
