Material Handler - Laredo

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete logs for inventory, vehicles or deliveries as required
• Report any discrepancies
• Able to multi-task
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements

• Must be 25 or older due to insurability requirements for equipment use.
• Proven working experience as a material worker.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with Profit 2 or other computer skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to squat, twist, reach and stand / walk for an entire workday.
• Ability to work in Texas weather ie, heat, cold, dust, rain
• Able to work overtime and some Saturday's.
• Ability to use a measuring tape
• Current forklift license
• High School diploma
• Ability to read, write and speak English or Spanish
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Other duties as assigned
