Master Production Scheduler
BGSF has teamed up with a large manufacturing organization who is in search of a Master Scheduler to operate out of their plant in Stratford, CT.
Please note that this is a direct-hire opportunity and will operate fully onsite.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for delivering adherence to the materials planning process and continuing to drive improvements and enhancements
- Oversight and management of the supply planning team
- Track purchased material shipments from suppliers
- Work with the development and tracking of KPI's
- Work with over 40 suppliers and deal with raw materials and plastic components
- Enhance MPS planning skills within the given territories
- Responsible for vendor service level tracking
- Work with the release of purchase orders and work order tracking
- Participate in ERP upgrades and automation improvements
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business required
- APICS, CSCP or CPIM certifications preferred
- Must have a minimum 5 years of supply chain experience with at least 2 years of management experience
- Must have experience working with a suppliers, vendors and managing / creating KPI's
