Audit Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is looking to add an Audit Senior Accountant to help lead and guide their clients, in addition to supporting our internal leaders with the on-going growth in our Manchester, NH office.

Summary : As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for performing and leading the necessary procedures involved in planning and executing attestation engagements for clients in accordance with the applicable accounting standards.

The Audit Senior serves to lead client engagements, maintain client relationships, and act as a liaison between overseeing the work of internal staff and working closely with internal leaders, to ensure high-quality work is conducted and delivered to our clients. Duties :

• Audit Senior Accountant will perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
• Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
• Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards
• As an Audit Senior Accountant, you will develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines
• Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
• Communicate with Client, Management, and Managing Director on work status and client issues that arise

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (for Audit or Tax) or equivalent technology experience
• Must progress professionally by obtaining relevant certification as soon as possible if certification is not already attained to advance
• Must maintain required CPE credits annually
• 4+ years of experience in relevant position; Public accounting or another professional services environment preferred
• Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.

This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
