The Territory Sales Manager, Municipal is responsible for expanding direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and territories.

They establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and strive to meet sales targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

This role requires extensive travel throughout the fiscal year, up to 60% of the time.

As a Territory Sales Manager, Municipal, you will :

  • Be the main point of contact for Customers, Consultant Engineers, Regulatory Agencies, Contractors and Representatives.
  • Be responsible for system sizing, pricing and commissions for all municipal systems.
  • Be responsible for all purchase orders, sales targets, tenders.
  • Identify any trends or issues that could affect the marketplace, while taking corrective action to achieve orders, bookings & funnel health goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective day to day operational relationships with channel partners, agents, OEM's within the assigned territory.
  • Work from your home office while traveling to visit customers, regulatory bodies, contractors, etc. across the Southeast US.

Are you qualified? We're looking for :

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a territory utilizing a CRM including planning, forecasting, managing and implementing sales plans.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Technical and / or Sales experience
  • Capability to travel via car or plane within territory for significant portions of each fiscal year.
  • It'd be a bonus if you have experience working with municipal partners or with the water industry!

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
