- Strong Human Resources experience and work ethic as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Relevant experience in retail or experience supporting a field organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience working with HRIS Systems to include leveraging key data to identify trends and develop strategies to drive improvement in core metrics

This role serves as a consultant to leaders on human resource-related issues; formulates partnerships across the HR function;
delivers value-added service to field leaders and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The position will be based in our corporate office and reports to the Legal Counsel & Director or ER and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies
- Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action
- Maintains and processes all Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and attends unemployment hearings when necessary.
- Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Partners with the legal department as needed / required.
- Provides performance management guidance to field leadership (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Partners with the Recruiting team as needed for new hires, promotions and transfers
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9
- Updates, monitors and maintains eligible salary adjustments / increases
- Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
