JOB DESCRIPTION :

Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI) is seeking a first shift Full Time AWS Solutions Architect to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.

If located 50+ miles outside of Huntsville, AL Remote Work is authorized

If located within 49 miles of Huntsville, AL Hybrid Work is authorized (1 day working onsite with 4 days telework)

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications listed below :

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• CompTIA Security+ (or higher) certified
• Senior system / application administrator or developer with hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise systems
• Hands-on experience requesting, configuring, and administering Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud infrastructure and services
• Ability to use AWS Console, Services Manager (SSM), and CloudWatch
• Ability to understand and advise on Enterprise Architecture, bridging the gap to non-technical stakeholders and trading partners
• Ability to develop / recommend repeatable processes for consumption by others
• Demonstrated ability to research emerging technology, prepare client recommendations, and implement approved COA
• Experience with security scanning and / or STIGing for systems operating under the DoD RMF
• Ability to execute, lead, and train complex tasks with minimal direction
• Debugging experience in Windows Server, Linux, Oracle, or similar system

Desired Qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect or Cloud Practitioner certification
• Experience administering Citrix Remote Desktop set-up
• Experience using / consuming EA artifacts represented in UML, DoDAF

Minimum Experience

• 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR
• 10+ years experience with a Master's Degree

Education / Certifications

Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field.

Security Clearance

This position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance government security clearance as a condition for placement and continued employment.
