OASYS, INC., a Leading Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a AWS Solutions Architect

Job Responsibilities include : Conducts highly specialized activities regarding the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's Cloud application and / or infrastructure.

• Conceptualizes, models, and guides the logical design and development of AWS Cloud systems
• architectures, and defines key systems capabilities and performance requirements.
• Defines total AWS Cloud systems design, technology, and interface operational concepts.
• May act as a technical project leader for Cloud Projects.
• Designs and develops Cloud system architectures and defines key capabilities and performance requirements.
• Defines total Cloud systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements.
• Develops Cloud system element architecture and design and interface definitions.
• Defines Cloud system implementation approach and operational concept.
• Develops Cloud models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
• Provide a Cloud architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts.

Minimum Requirements :

• 5+ years' of relevant technical experience
• 12 total years of experience and the 12 years can be any type of paid experience
• Senior system / application administrator or developer with hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise systems
• Hands-on experience requesting, configuring, and administering Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud infrastructure and services
• Ability to use AWS Console, Services Manager (SSM), and CloudWatch
• Ability to understand and advise on Enterprise Architecture, bridging the gap to non-technical stakeholders and trading partners
• Ability to develop / recommend repeatable processes for consumption by others
• Demonstrated ability to research emerging technology, prepare client recommendations, and implement approved COA
• Experience with security scanning and / or STIGing for systems operating under the DoD RMF
• Ability to execute, lead, and train complex tasks with minimal direction
• Skills / experience to do deep-dive debugging in Windows Server, Linux, Oracle, or similar system
• CompTIA Security+ (or higher) certified

Preferred Skills :

• AWS Solutions Architect or Cloud Practitioner certification
• Experience administering Citrix Remote Desktop set-up
• Experience using / consuming EA artifacts represented in UML, DoDAF

Required Education : A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline (STEM, computer science, or computer engineering, etc.).

E ligibility : Only US citizens are eligible for this position. Candidates must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
