Overview :
Reporting to the COO, the Senior Director of Finance will lead financial operations, including budget management, reporting, cash flow monitoring, and developing best practices.
They will provide strategic financial insights, advising the leadership on resource allocation to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee financial operations and strategy, including budgets and forecasts for US and UK entities.
- Manage the preparation of monthly GAAP financial reports and tax calculations like transfer pricing and deferred revenue.
- Monitor financial performance, advising on spending and corrective actions.
- Work closely with the board on strategic planning and resource management.
- Supervise the finance and accounting team, including performance management.
- Manage external relationships (e.g., CPA, tax preparers) and oversee contract commitments, payroll, and policy adherence.
Requirements :
- 10+ years in finance and business ops, including 5+ years of team management.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting required, MBA preferred.
- CPA certification required, with strong experience in GAAP-based reporting and risk management.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Office 365, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
