Responsibilities :
- Supervision and support to youth program artistic staff
- Audition coordination and placement into appropriate ensembles
- Concert management
- Community engagement
- Implement and manage disciplinary procedures when necessary
- Recruitment and retention of students
- Music and pedagogy oversight
- Ensure compliance with music licensing regulations
- Budget management
- Performs related duties as required
Requirements :
- Proficiency in string instruments
- Bachelor’s degree in music education, arts administration, or related field
- Experience in music education, youth programming, and / or arts management
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
- Knowledge of music pedagogy, repertoire, and educational methodologies
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
