A leading acute care hospital located in southern Florida is now seeking an experienced Acute Care Respiratory Therapist to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
This full-service acute care facility is home to more than 200 inpatient beds and offers a variety of medical and surgical services, including a separate 70-beds for critical and emergency care.
This facility also offers other services including behavioral health, maternal fetal medicine, pediatrics, cardiovascular, laboratory and imaging, and rehabilitative services.
This location is also proud to be a designated LEED Gold Certified hospital and features energy-efficient initiatives and recycled materials throughout.
Under limited supervision, the Respiratory Therapist will manage respiratory medications or treatments, assist with vent set up, and provide direct patient monitoring.
The Inpatient Respiratory Therapist will serve as a patient advocate, collaborate with physician partners, prep patients for procedures, identify acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction, and perform quality control procedures.
Day shift and night shift options are available.
What’s Needed to Succeed :
- Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT or Certified Respiratory Therapist CRT
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications or ability to obtain
- Prior working experience is a plus!
