Site Manager in Training (SMIT), Long Beach, CA

Job Summary : We are seeking ambitious and business-minded individuals to join our team as Site Manager in Training (SMIT) .
This role is ideal for recent college graduates or professionals with business experience who are motivated and driven to succeed in the clinical research field.
Throughout a one-year training program, SMITs will be groomed to take on the responsibilities of a Site Manager , overseeing clinical trials and ensuring operational success at research sites.
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Engage in a comprehensive training program to learn the ins and outs of clinical trial site management.
- Support senior staff in the daily management of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the business aspects of site management, including budget tracking, resource allocation, and operational logistics.
- Participate in patient recruitment, scheduling, and data collection processes to ensure efficient trial execution.
- Develop skills in monitoring study progress, preparing reports, and maintaining trial documentation.
- Learn to coordinate communications between study sites, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen, with previous experience in operations, project management, or a business-related field (preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data management systems.
