Summary
Join an experienced and committed group of early childhood professionals in a NAEYC-accredited center close to downtown St.
Louis! Nestle Purina Child Development Center is looking for someone to design lesson plans based on Project Construct in a play-based curriculum, interact with children and families, implement family-style dining, and help children be safe, happy and actively learning.

Duties
- Plan, organize and implement an age appropriate program, including lesson planning for a group of children consistent with the philosophy of the center
- Interact with children in an enjoyable, developmentally appropriate fashion
- Establish trust and a bond with children in your care
- Maintain a safe and healthy classroom by following all center health and safety guidelines and rules
- Set and maintain goals for children across all areas of development monthly
- Screen children at least twice per year using center provided screening tools
- Provide an entry conference as well as two parent-teacher conferences per family
- Maintain children's portfolios
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents
- Supervise and direct part time teachers and floaters with responsibilities they have in your classroom.
Requirements
Associate's degree is early childhood education
