Education Program Coordinator I - Office of Educational Improvement
Position Description :
As an Education Program Coordinator I in Academic Affairs you willcoordinate OEI program areas of Interprofessional Education and Practice, Faculty Development, Instructional Design and Educational Technology, under supervision of Program Director, Office of Educational Improvement .
Organize, schedule and implement OEI events, coordinate collection of assessment and evaluation data from these events, and follow compliance guidelines for data and information management.
Support these areas by tracking and communicating information related to current and future degree granting programs. This role also involves coordination of projects by serving as a project assistant as needed.
Primary Functions
- Implement OEI institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, training, interviews, schedules, and timelines) in the areas of Interprofessional Education and Practice, Faculty Development, Instructional Design and Educational Technology.
- Coordinate calendars and schedules and schedule space resources for OEI program activities
- Collect and compile data and information using MCW licensed systems to support faculty teaching and student learning efforts.
- Maintain data using MCW IS best practices to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s), and learners.
- Serve as liaison with faculty, staff, other departments, affiliates, outside institutions in relation to OEI programming.
Attend meetings and prepare documentation (minutes, best practices) as directed.
- Provide information, support, and problem solving for leaders, faculty, and staff.
- Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other educational materials as directed.
- Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities of OEI events.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
Experience in coordinating events. Experience with MSOffice 365, Microsoft Teams, Visio and proficient in Excel.

Position Requirements :
Minimum Required Education : Bachelor's degree required
Minimum Required Experience : 2 years
Preferred Education : Bachelor's degree in education or business related field
Preferred Experience : 2 years experience in education or program coordination
