This role is with our Sister company Carlson Store Fixtures for a onsite Warehouse Supervisor.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervise the production and warehouse operations (direct labor, hours worked, temporary help) in the safest, most efficient manner in support of customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement projects to support efficiency and quality improvement initiatives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee daily operations of production and warehouse departments.
- Oversee and drive continuous improvement initiatives for the production and warehouse operations.
- Supervise production, assembly, and warehouse employees.
- Prepare and conduct annual performance and compensation reviews for direct reports.
- Determine staffing requirements; review with management and hire staff when appropriate.
- Provide back up or cross training for all positions under supervision.
- Lead safety and health initiatives.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and assist employees in solving problems.
- Monitor finished goods to inventory to maintain budgeted inventory service levels
- Monitor raw material inventory to maintain adequate stock of product and budgeted inventory.
- Communicate overstocks and inventory shortages to Sales, Customer Service, and Division President, including estimated restocking point and date.
- Oversee physical inventories and cycle counting programs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Completion of secondary education program. Post-secondary education with a focus in engineering, operations, lean practices, etc. preferred.
- Three years supervisory experience within a production / warehouse environment.
- Prior experience working with quality / lean focused programs.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and ability to lead safety programs and initiatives.
- Ability to quickly prioritize workload needs as requirements change.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet workload requirements.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
