Google Workspace Deployment and Integration Specialist

Our valued client is hiring for a Deployment and integration specialist for Google Workspace, responsible for setting up a new instance, integrating cybersecurity policies, managing user accounts, and providing documentation and training.

Responsibilities :

Work with the IDG Tech Team and Global Technology Services (GTS) to understand project needs and timelines

Develop a comprehensive plan for the new Google Workspace instance deployment, ensuring it operates independently from existing M365 and Google Workspace accounts

Set up a new Google Workspace instance for approximately 50 users with its own unique domain

Integrate organization?s cybersecurity and password compliance policies into the new workspace

Implement native Google Mobile Device Management (MDM), ensuring alignment with organizational policies and data sharing agreement

Coordinate the creation and management of Workspace admin accounts, securing access via Google Authenticator

Develop comprehensive support documentation for IT staff and end-users regarding enabled service

Create detailed transition documentation for moving between M365 accounts and the new Google Workspace instance

Provide training for IT staff and end-users on the use and management of the new Google Workspace environment

Fine-tune services based on project needs, including enabling or disabling specific features and managing file attachments and data sharing settings

Prepare for potential transition to long-term project use, planning for a timeline of up to five years

Education Requirements :

Desired Background / Skills :

Proficient in Google Workspace setup and management

Experience with cybersecurity and compliance policy integration

Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) systems

Capable of creating and managing user accounts securely

Skilled in documentation and training material development

Qualified with typical industry certifications for IT and Google Workspace

User Account Management Procedure

Training and Support Documentation

Transition Plans (for both long-term use and potential M365 transition)
