Our valued client in the custom business and smart home integration is growing and in search of a Project Manager.

Our client is the leader in residential technology integration, bringing innovative and high-performance systems to homes across the Midwest.

Their projects range from sophisticated home theaters to comprehensive smart home solutions. Their clients love their passion, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.

Our client is seeking an extremely passionate and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their dynamic team. If you are motivated to grow your career, they have a seat for you!

Salary : $100K-$115K / Year

Location : Northbrook, IL

Job Responsibilities :

  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute $5k to $1M jobs with a total budget range of $1M to $6M per year
  • Effectively manage multiple projects based on shifting deadlines and requirements that adhere to established budgets and client expectations
  • Work closely with high profile homes and clients, maintain client privacy, and personal professionalism at all times.
  • Work with Crestron, Control4, Savant, and Lutron control systems
  • Work closely with other departments to move projects forward towards completion
  • Responsible to attend site walk through, check-in visits and job completion walkthroughs as needed
  • Follow industry standards and building codes for low voltage installations
  • Responsible for quality control of project related items
  • Supervise a team of 3-6 technicians at a time.
  • Coordinate with other teams depending upon the scope of work.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural team with diverse heritage, processes, and people

Requirements :

  • At least 4 years of Audio Video or Home Automation experience not required, but preferred.
  • Ability to determine problems and deliver project solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong Technical Experience in AV or Low Voltage
  • Deep understanding of construction site processes and standards
  • Ability to read plans and diagrams
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally or work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrate proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, resilient, eager to learn and has willingness to improve
  • Able to execute numerous competing priorities effectively with good time management
  • Must promote the Company's core values to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners
  • Must be self-motivated, positive, professional, and willing to help create, develop and implement process improvements
  • A passion for Home Automation is a plus

Qualifications :

  • Have valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Experience in Project Management and / or Low Voltage for at least 5 10 years

Travel :

Travel is rarely required for this position though some projects may require out-of-the-area and overnight travel. Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
