Job DescriptionVCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to join our team.
The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.
In addition to standard Veterinary Nursing Technical skills, we value : Excellent Client & Patient Care while working in a fast paced environmentKnowledge and competence of Nursing care, husbandry, and clinical practice for Canine, Feline, Avian, Exotic Companion Mammal, and Reptile patientsAnesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery of various speciesVersatility to communicate professionally and the flexibility to support various hospital departments (Primary Care, Emergency, ICU, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Dental, Exotics), embracing the whole hospital team cohesiveness conceptYou’ve worked hard on your training and for your credentialing, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in.
We are committed to supporting your professional growth, whatever that looks like to you!Compensation varies based on education, experience, and current AZ CVT license : $15 - 24 / hour (includes scale for licensed and unlicensed Veterinary Technicians)CE Allowance $750 / year for CVTs, $1000 / year for VTSSchedule varies based on department & hospital needs.
