LHH is looking for a full time Accounting Assistant to join our client growing company in Bellevue, WA. This role is fully onsite with one of our top clients.
This position will be a 3-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent conversion.
Responsibilities :
Process accounts receivable and deposit checks.
Open and distribute daily mail.
Maintain check registers and property cash logs.
Review monthly rent increases and send out notifications.
Post monthly rents and email tenant statements.
Create and update ACH forms for tenants.
Update ACH workbooks monthly and coordinate with property managers for any changes.
Enter lease abstracts into the Yardi database.
Scan AP and AR documents into the document management system.
Maintain and update tenant information in Yardi.
Post tenant adjustments, billbacks, late fees, CAM estimates, and year-end CAM adjustments.
Prepare year-end files for the CPA.
Perform filing tasks as needed.
Maintain electronic files for tenant billbacks and adjustments.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications :
Over 2 years of office experience.
At least 1 year of accounts receivable experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Yardi is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills.
Competence in data entry management.
General math skills.
Compensation : $26-$30 / hour DOE
