Job Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain all genomic databases.

Assemble and maintain pangenome data for field crops.

Develop and maintain a data imputation pipeline.

Implement, manage, and maintain a BLAST server and a genome browser.

Support other areas with Bioinformatics data mining and analysis of NGS data.

Required and Desired Skills :

A PhD. degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or related fields.

Coding knowledge in R, Python and SQL.

Experience in Linux environments.

Basic knowledge of genomics.

Knowledge of cloud computing preferred.

Proactive, self-motivated and self-driven person with high accountability.

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
