The Plan Controller at Enviro Tech an Arxada Co. at both Modesto, CA, and Helena AR, manages product costing, sites monthly financial performances tracking and review.
Inventory management, including slow moving inventory. Capital Projects tracking are among the key deliverables of the integration journey.
As a key member of the plant leadership team, the Plant Controller is the first and recognized primary contact on many Operations finance matters.
In this role you are accountable for providing visibility on site Operations financial performances and ensuring actions to improve financial results with timely execution and prioritization.
You are leading the Integrated Operations financial cycles (monthly closing, outlook, and budgeting), and supporting the FP&A director in understanding the business gross margin performances.
Responsibilities
- Ensures plant spend compliance with corporate accounting policies and IFRS.
- Makes sure spend is reported according to the Arxada accounting manuals.
- Single Point of Contact for Financial Integration when it comes to Product costing and Capital investments controlling.
- Implements plant reporting package in line with Arxada guidelines.
- Fosters the harmonization and standardization requirements, highlights gap and proposes solutions.
- Analyzes financial reports, evaluates plant performance and spending. Works with Plant managers and site leadership on cost improvement projects.
- Coordinates the preparation of the plants annual operating expense budget.
- Coordinates the standard cost updates, including analyses cost updates within product lines. Drives further visibility on profitability.
- Comply with all EHS procedures & policies relevant to the role, report any incidents or ill health associated with your work & report any conditions likely to cause an accident
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required, Business Administration or Finance, or Accounting.
- Entry level up to 5 years’ experience in Finance & Controlling Manufacturing Controlling.
- Must have manufacturing experience.
- Exhibit a Can do attitude , action oriented and focused on problem solving rather than explaining
- Able to bridge gaps and develop action plans to standardize and integrate.
- Strong financial acumen, able to quantify the impact of the site leadership actions on Site Operational expenses and Capital assets.
- Team Player, able to prioritize financial performances among the key accountabilities of the site leadership team
- Sharp communicator, acting as right hand of the FP&A director and being able to present product costing findings to Commercial and Marketing leads
