We are in the process of recruiting a Staff Accountant to join our team in the northwest metro. This role revolves around a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, bank reconciliations, and month end closure.
This position is a promising opportunity for individuals with a background in accounting and finance, eager to utilize and enhance their skills in a growing team.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately process customer credit applications, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
- Maintain precise records of customer credit information.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
- Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately.
- Carry out bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring the general ledger is accurately maintained.
- Conduct month-end closure procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data and processes efficiently.
- Must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
- Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is essential
- Demonstrated experience with General Ledger management is required
- Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is a must
- Experience in handling Month End Close activities is necessary
- Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite for accounting tasks is required
- Proficiency in using Oracle for managing accounts is essential
- Must possess experience in using QuickBooks for accounting activities
- Experience in using SAP for accounting tasks is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Should have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
