Essential Functions Oversees and directs the operational procedures for maintaining the chemical balance of all the water in the City of Boise pools.
Monitors and maintains pool water quality and temperature. Inspects, maintains and repairs chemical controllers, chlorine gas feed systems, chemical injection pumps and plumbing systems.
30%) Inspects and repairs pool structural components, mechanical equipment and plumbing and circulation systems to ensure safe site facilities.
Ensures safety requirements for using personal protective equipment to handle hazardous chemicals are followed. (30%) Controls onsite pool chemical storage, purchase, transportation and disposal safety.
10%) Provides daily inspections of each pool facility to ensure they are maintained cleanly and safely. Develops and implements pool mechanical operation procedures and inspection schedules.
10%) Plans for and performs year-round facility maintenance projects on park building structures, electrical and lighting systems, locker rooms, drinking water fountains, showers and restrooms.
Performs seasonal maintenance on turf irrigation systems. Trains and oversees infrastructure seasonal maintenance staff.
