General Responsibilities :
Ensure that all processes related to Receipts for the LWS Warehouse are completed within the respected timeframe for turnaround of products and real time inventory accuracy.
Follow up with all Inbound deliveries to ensure that operators have completed the MIGO process for transfers and there are no outstanding transactions.
Coordinator shipments and deliveries for the LWS Warehouse with suppliers, freight forwarders and other Novus departments.
Handling inbound / outbound shipments accordingly within compliance to all Novus SOP's, state and local agencies, etc.
Process, damaged, non-conformance items that do not meet quality standards upon receipt.
Work hand in hand with the Warehouse Supervisor in handling outbound shipments and keeping records up to date. Dispersing paperwork, updating shipments, etc.
General Guidance for Key Knowledge / Skills / Experience :
Multitasking in various departments and operations, and prioritizing tasks.
Years of general labor experience needed
High School Diploma / GED / College
Experience in a high traffic warehouse preferred.
Able to comply with Safety processes and procedures.
Any other related experience needed to perform role is also preferred
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with arms or hands, climb multiple flights of stairs, crawl, crouch, kneel, write & type.
- Ability to lift and / or move items up to 55lbs frequently.
- Ability to drive, climb on and off a forklift as required.
- Ability to see, speak, hear, and smell. Must have depth perception, color vision and peripheral vision.
- Able to comply with safety rules and regulations.
Work Environment :
This role operates in a manufacturing facility including indoor / outdoor work environments year-round. This role must be able to use personal protective equipment as required by OSHA standards.
The role may work with or around machinery, powered industrial vehicles, electricity, compressed gas cylinders, high pressures, extreme heat & cold process related work, heights, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, wet / slippery floors / surfaces, vibrations and loud noise levels.
This role is frequently required to interact with other employees as well as external clients, and consultants, as well as work alone.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. Must be able to interface with digital control systems.
