What you'll be doing...

In this role, Network and Security Domain : Product Strategy Senior Manager, you will report to the AD, Product Strategy in the Strategic Partner Relationships team in Technical Solutions.

You will serve as an interface for external and internal partners. Responsibilities include : :

Build relationships with key partner contacts.

Work with partner(s) on 12-36 month strategic and product roadmaps and influence partner roadmaps to meet Verizon's unique needs

Align Verizon and partner strategies to ideate and identify differentiated solutions to bring to market for revenue growth, customer retention and EBITDA growth

Maintain a high level of relevant subject matter expertise and broader market awareness, as well as expertise in the OEM partner portfolio.

Leads technical design and architectural discussions with Partners and peers within Technology Solutions. Consult with peers within Tech Solutions including Product Enablement and DA / T2.

Discover, initiate and lead developing new concepts for (new and existing) products as a partner with product marketing and product enablement

Contribute "articles" and white papers for VBG internal consumption

Review emerging market trends and new potential partners for consideration to bring into Verizon portfolio for revenue growth, new markets, or to fill gaps in existing products.

Be a thought leader by researching and staying abreast of technology trends, presenting to internal and external teams.

Coordinate partner activity across Technology Solutions teams, VBG (Enterprise, Business Markets and Public Sector, both WLS and WLN), as well as Corp Strategy and GN&T teams.

Participate in the coordination and preparation of materials and agendas for a regular governance cadence of Executive Briefings, Workshops and QBRs

Document key contacts, artifacts and action items in central shared repository

Drive action items and project plans though to resolution, escalating and including leadership throughout.

Keep leadership briefed on key partner activities

Travel to partner locations, briefing centers and other related events as required.

This role will be responsible for partner relationships across the Network and Security domain, and to work closely with peers in the other solution domains. The domains include :

Network and Security : SD-WAN / SD-LAN, SASE / SSE, Managed WAN / LAN / WiFi, Optical / High BW, MSS, and Embedded Security, new partner exploration

Advanced Comms : Contact Center, Unified Comms, and Collaboration, new partner exploration

Mobility and Edge : Private Networks (PN) vendors, FWA routers, MEC, new partner exploration

Strategic and Multi-Tower : partners such as hyperscalers, Cisco, HCLTech, new partner exploration.

You'll be working cross-functionally across our Technology Solutions and broader VBG and Verizon teams including Product and Marketing, Sales, Customer Operations, 5G Acceleration, and Supply Chain.

You will lead efforts that will span all VBG customer segments including Global Enterprise, Public Sector, and Business Markets.

What we're looking for...

To be successful in this role, you will need to :

Develop deep partnerships and relationships with VBG's most important partners

Have an existing understanding of VBG's portfolio

Have technical expertise in your domain area

Partner effectively across VBG and broader Verizon teams, including GNT and GTS

Have strong communication skills, be organized and able to work independently

The Sr Mgr will work closely with teams (internal and external) to collaborate and ideate on new growth opportunities for Verizon, achieve high performance results while ensuring compliance with Verizon's Business Code of Conduct.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and proactive visionary in driving strategic business initiatives to exceed objectives.

You'll need to have :

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant domain knowledge experience.

Technical skills in applying partner product strategy to enhance Verizon's roadmap

Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner to individuals unfamiliar with subject material.

Experience building partnerships and collaborating with organizations.

Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%-50% of the time.

Streamline communication approach to maintain transparency.

Ability to conduct meetings, evaluate issues, provide solutions, and drive aggressive timelines.

Strong interpersonal capabilities, with the ability to build trust-based relationships

This role requires the ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment .

Even better if you have one or more of the following :

Prior experience building relationships and engaging with Verizon's technology partners

Ability to understand drivers influencing partners and demonstrated ability to shape their thinking to mutually beneficial outcomes for VBG and the partner

Entrepreneurial spirit or experience and a passion for shaping Verizon's future roadmap.

Industry experience, strategic thinking, customer obsession, a passion for innovation and best practice sharing, all delivering exceptional results over time

Well-organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and quality-minded.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $127,000.00 and $236,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.

For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
