BluePearl Pet Hospital in Grand Rapids has been the premier specialty and emergency pet hospital serving West Michigan. Our internal medicine team specializes in complex disease processes that are part of the internal organs and body systems of dogs and cats.

BluePearl is looking for a remarkable full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to support our Internal Medicine team. Experience working in a specialty hospital is not required as we provide comprehensive training for assistants and technicians transitioning from general practice.

Duties are, but not limited to :

Anesthesia and patientmonitoring

Catheter placement and blood draws

Assist with radiography, GI scope, and CT imaging

Assist with diagnostics and procedures

Procedure prep, intubation, and recovery

Proficient knowledge of patient vital signs

Provide excellent nursing care to hospitalized patients both stable and critical

Good client communication skills

Able to multi-task

Organized and dependable

Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Status : Full-Time

Minimum 2 years experienceworking in a veterinary practice is required and proficient in anesthesia and patient monitoring

Shift : Daytime hours, Tuesday through Friday
